Home School - Terracotta pot painting
Time & Location
About the Event
Terracotta Pot Painting Class
Our pot painting class is a fun and easy way to connect with art, we encourage kids to use tape on their pot to mask parts of it, to then paint their pot and allow it to dry followed by removing the tape. As there is dry time we encourage you to pack lunch for them to enjoy between setting their work to dry, and removing the tape.
We provide x1 small terracotta pot in the price of the ticket, additional pots can be purchased via the tickets menu.
The purpose of this class is to allow kids freedom to express themselves through paint and encourage
them to have fun creating functional art for their home.
We will be at Goodna Community House from 9:00am-12:00pm. You are welcome to arrive any time up until 11.30am to complete your art piece. The time it takes each student to complete the piece depends on the age of the child and how many you have purchased, at the very minimum allow 30 minutes. For classes that have 'dry time' or a requirement for a piece to dry in order that it is completed, we encourage you to pack a snack to fill this time.
