Here at our Sip and Dip we offer FUN art not FINE art, enjoy a guided learn to make class!

This class is a contractor class - we have brought in a fantastic instructor from Infatuate Creative to teach you how to work with Ink!

This is a beginner, previous experience is not essential as we cover the basics of this process over the course of the day. This is the perfect beginner class! Your teacher will walk you through the process step by step!

Included in your price of this ticket is:

- A super easy step by step polymer clay class run by your fabulous teacher

- All the equipment and materials you will need for a morning out

- Your chosen project/s to apply alcohol ink to

- The capped class size of no more than 16 people

Projects

- 4 wine glasses or;

- 2 planters (shapes vary images is a guide only)

- 1 tea infuser and matching clear mug

- 1 Hanging planter

CLASS FAQ

Colours

We will have a variety of colours on the day however we do not guarantee the colour you want will be there, if you wish to use a particular colour please bring it with you. 

Sealing Coat

At the end of your class, your work will be sealed. We highly encourage students to apply subsequent coats at home to ensure the longevity of their work. Your sealing coat will provide protection sufficient for limited use/decorative use. You will need to allow your work to dry for 24 hours before applying additional coats at home. For wine glasses and the clear mug we recommend applying a ring of electrical tape around the top of each glass prior to sealing to ensure that it remains food-safe (with no contact between you, your food and your art materials). We recommend 2-3 light coats for all projects and allowing it to dry totally between each coating. "Craft Gallery - clear gloss spray' is an inexpensive gloss spray that is great for glass wear leaving you with minimal translucency in the finished product (it is the gloss used for the product photos used to advertise the class) and can be purchased online. Remove the electrical tape after you have applied all of your coats.

Parking

At this time of day, there is ample street parking available opposite the venue and more behind the building.

What to wear to class?

We can not provide aprons due to covid regulations and so we encourage you to BYO an apron if it is your preference.

Can I pre-order a meal - is there coffee/snacks on site?

Yes, coffee and things like cake/slice are available onsite. For something more substaintial please contact the Soul Nook direct, with notice they can arrange picnic grazing boxes. These are $18 and you can contact them here to order. Meals are not included in your ticket price and are optional. The venue is BYO for wine/beer etc.

What happens if I can't make it?

This is a contractor class, all standard Sip 'n' Dip terms and conditions apply. If you are unable to attend and provide 48 hours notice you will be provided a credit with a 12-month expiry which can be used ONLY with Infatuate Creative contractor classes (NOT the general Sip 'n' Dip line up) refunds do not apply due to the expensive nature of supplies and limited class size.

What size is this class

This class is capped strictly at 16 people. Book early to avoid disappointment. We will not extend class sizes for any reason. This technique requires a capped class for the best possible experience for the clients.
