About the Event

This class is limited to only 20 people under our new Orion class structures.

On the night there will be 3 events running, this one will be CAPPED at 20 people and will be located inside the coffee club.

What's included in this cafe class:

  • Your Class
  • 1 x large: 30.5cm x 30.5cm x 1.6cm / 12-inch x 12-inch x 0.6-inch canvas to take home
  • 1 x small: 20.3cm x 20.3cm x 1.6cm / 8-inch x 8-inch x 0.6-inch canvas to take home
  • All materials required for class
  • All equipment needed in class
  • Dinner from their speciality sip n dip menu
  • A glass of wine

Please arrive a few minutes early so you can meet your fellow makers, grab a seat and unwind and soak up the chilled vibe before the class starts.

Follow your teacher's directions to the letter to avoid disappointment with your final piece. You will be mixing some paints yourself in class which means following the correct ratios of acrylic pouring medium, water and paint. Too much or too little can cause your work not to set properly OR cause it to crack.

Chances are it will still be reasonably fluid on departure, the coffee club is happy to hold your work until the following day for collection. So for safe travel, we recommend you leave your work overnight and bring a small box to take your work home or a helper to hold it in the car for you. The coffee club is open from 7:30AM the next day.

Your canvases can take up to a week or so to dry thoroughly, after which time you can varnish them.

Please be advised that Sip 'n' Dip Australia will place an artist to supervise this class and all measures will be taken to provide a safe environment for you to enjoy pour paint, however, Sip 'n' Dip Australia takes no responsibility for personal liability and damage for those not following instructions provided.

We choose to use non toxic paint, however there is always a chance of irritation such as:

Skin Contact: No anticipated harmful effects in small amounts.

Eye Contact: May cause irritation to eyes.

Ingestion: No anticipated harmful effects in small amounts.

Inhalation: No anticipated harmful effects in small amounts.

The style of canvases for this class are pictured.  You will recieve two circular canvases the sizes are listed below:

  • 1 x large: 30.5cm x 30.5cm x 1.6cm / 12-inch x 12-inch x 0.6-inch canvas to take home
  • 1 x small: 20.3cm x 20.3cm x 1.6cm / 8-inch x 8-inch x 0.6-inch canvas to take home

Your canvases are designed to be aesthetically beautiful keep them beautiful by:

Do not:

Leave in direct sunlight (they will fade)

Varnish them to protect them and ensure a long life - we can do this in our studio in Goodna for $10 for you, in either gloss or iridescent varnish.

Plenty of free parking, a reminder this is designed as a night out to allow people to unwind, you are welcome to bring your kids (if they are registered makers and supervised during class) but we encourage you to leave toddlers and babies with babysitters and enjoy an awesome night off the tools and allow others to do the same.

If you purchased more than one seat you will automatically be grouped with those seats (even if you made them in separate transactions), if you would like to be grouped with other attendees in particular (your friend paid for their own ticket) just let us know their name on arrival and we will be sure to seat you together!

If you book a ticket (paid or unpaid) and don't show up, we do not offer a refund and you are required to pay for your class. The reason we do not offer discounts is that we have to purchase supplies in advance of the class to account for your attendance. If you let us know in advance of the class we will happily transfer your ticket to another event or offer you a credit to use at any of our classes but we do not offer refunds.

We are presently unable to offer aprons due to strict COVID requirements (we can be fined $$), so we recommend that you wear something you don't mind getting a little resin on (you won't be able to get it off once it's on so older clothes are recommended or a BYO apron).

  • General Admission

Ticket includes 2 canvases, dinner, a glass of wine, materials and equipment and takes about an hour from when you finish your meal.
