The Details
Hi Ladies,
This training is optional and unpaid, you are under no pressure to attend.
In this class we will be making a resin cheese board with 3 cheese knives, you will get to keep your work.
You will also be making 2 alcohol ink glasses, you will get to keep your work.
Nibbles provided.
The two finishing techniques for the resin board and knives that will be covered are as follows:
- Swiping the edges clear
- Straight-line finishes (using tape) and understanding gel phase
You will be working with pigment pastes and we will have some focus on the correct amounts to use.
We will be creating the 2 alcohol ink glasses with inks and mica powders. The focus will be on how we instruct alcohol ink, troubleshooting evaporation, comparing pigmented inks to alcohol inks. Also focus on applying the sealing coat and what to tell clients.
On arrival there will be half an hour open forum and we will dive straight into the class work.
