Class FAQ

Hows it works?

On arrival, check in with the Sip 'n' Dip Staff member on site who will show you where your class is located, then head to the bar to pay your $25 and order your meal. Once everyone has eaten (approximately 30-40 Minutes into the event) your art teacher will commence your class. While other guests eat your teacher will also help you collect the kit before class.

Hows the ticketing work?

You will pay a deposit to hold your spot and finalize your payment on arrival at the venue at $25 a head which will cover your meal and drink - a full bar is available on-site if you wish to purchase further drinks.

Traveling with your work

Resin is a fluid medium, a bit like the consistency of honey. You will travel home after class with your lazy susan covered in resin, it will be fluid and your design will almost certainly move and settle and look slightly different than it did in class (this is totally normal and would happen even if you didn't travel with it) - for that reason, we recommend highly ride-sharing, so that you can carry your work out of the venue, into the car and home whilst keeping it level and minimizing the movement. You will have a cardboard pizza box-styled box to carry your work home in and the tape 'dams' visible in the pictures above will be in place until you arrive home. On arrival, you will level your work then pull the dam and allow the drips to fall, and remove any drips from under your Susan with the take-home clean-up pack provided in class.

Parking

There is plenty of parking available on-site at no cost to you.

What to wear to class?

You will be working with art supplies, they will 100% ruin your clothing. Please dress appropriately or BYO an apron. Due to the risk of spreading covid in the community at this time,   we do not offer aprons.

Can I pre-order a meal?

No. There is a minimum spend of $25 as part of your ticket,  you can choose anything on the menu. The meal at this venue is Pizza, please check with the venue for more information.
