Hey there!

I am just popping a post up here to show you guys our brand-new pegboard wall.

For those of you who have followed our story you will know that we took this studio and expanded into our own venue two weeks before Covid lockdown hit.

This was a terrifying time for me as a small business owner as thousands and thousands of dollars worth of refunds started to roll back out the door after having worked so hard to build the business.

It was a rough ride, learning how to run an online store without any experience, pivoting to make rent, and trying not to cry as we found out we didn’t qualify for the 20k boosts the government released due to restructuring our business - so it is not been until now that I have felt comfortable to spend money on the studio beyond the necessities out of fear of losing it over another extended lockdown.

So this pegboard wall as simple and as basic as it’s design is, represents a huge moment for me personally so forgive me as I look fondly on the future here at sip n dip as I watch my once side gig become an opportunity for so many to get creative week in and week out, become an income to support the families of my staff and simply put, my passion for art coming to life.
