The Details

Tape 'n' Paint Class

This very tactile class is fun for all ages - we provide tape, canvases and paint and encourage the students to 'mask' their canvas in such a way as to create a wonderful masterpiece of their own divining. They are then encouraged to choose colours, and apply them in either a geometric pattern, a blanket pattern or following a window scene.

The purpose of this class is to provide a social and semi-structured environment where kids and feel safe to take risks and making choices about their work, without having to be totally autonomous.

FAQs

Class format

We will be at Goodna Community House from 9:00am-12:00pm. You are welcome to arrive any time up until 11.30am to complete your art piece.  The time it takes each student to complete the piece depends on the age of the child and how many you have purchased, at the very minimum allow 30 minutes. For classes that have 'dry time' or a requirement for a piece to dry in order that it is completed, we encourage you to pack a snack to fill this time.
