COST

$85 total ($50 Deposit due at booking and $35 paid to the venue direct on the evening)

WHAT YOU WILL MAKE

The technique you will learn is called a 'dirty pour' you will combine resin and hardener, divide it, colour it, layer it and flip it into your tray! Then you will spead the resin using the tilt method & straw method leaving you with a beautiful one of a kind tray to keep forever.

In this class you will make 1 x resin-coated tray - the amount of resin you will end up within your tray will be approx 5mm deep and you will take your tray home with you on the evening.

TRAVELLING HOME WITH YOUR TRAY

When you depart your resin will still be runny. We encourage you to travel home with your tray on a flat surface in your vehicle (like the floor) and drive carefully. Better yet - UBER home so you can enjoy a few glasses of vino and carry your beauty home with you on your lap. If you do find when you get home that some resin has made its way up the sides of your tray, simply wipe it off and allow your tray to sit in a level surface overnight. By the morning it will be touch hard and by 7 days after your class you will be able to use it!

NDIS SUPPORT

We want to see more inclusive art classes available here in Ipswich and Brisbane.

More creativity, more experiences more confidence boosts more love of art, for more people. Whilst we are NOT registered to become providers, we work with people on the NDIS regularly to help connect people with art and we are so excited to have the ability to be part of the story of the vibrant and inclusive art community here in Ipswich. To access the NDIS for your classes please book as per normal and provide your invoice to your plan manager/coordinator. Most of our clients claim their fees under Class: Innov Community Participation.

Carers are not charged to attend unless they do the class with their NDIS participant.

CLASS COST DIFFERENCES

Please note the studio classes are priced accurate to the cost of running them (we are generally cheaper than our competitor's apples for apples) we drop our fees when we go out into cafes to ensure that the price remains competitive and affordable ā€“ cafĆ© classes are usually double the size of our studio classes so we make this concession for that reason. The meal component can account for between $20-55 depending on the venue you attend. Private & Studio classes are charged at the same rate and that rate is higher then cafes for the above reason - we are generally teaching a much smaller group and the group is always smaller than what people estimate when they quote. These events cost us more to run (swapping travel costs for venue costs). Private bookings have a minimum of 10 people.
