Once everyone has eaten (approximately 30-40 Minutes into the event) your art teacher will commence your class. While other guests eat your teacher will also help you collect the colours you need before class.
Hows the ticketing work?
You will pay a deposit to hold your spot and finalize your payment on arrival at the venue at $25 a head which will cover your meal and drink - full bar available on-site if you wish to purchase further drinks.
Style Of The Cooler
The picture above is the piece you will create, the wine cooler will come in stainless steel (white-coated stainless steel if we can not source stainless steel). All coolers are a double-walled cooler that holds 12oz of liquid and comes with a lid. They are designed for the consumption of cold drinks. Your work is not dishwasher safe, but is food safe.
Resin is a chemical, please make an informed choice
If you are booking, for a resin class it is important to remember that resin is a chemical and as such we ask that you first review the epoxy resin FAQ on our website particularly if you are pregnant, Â breastfeeding, or have a child to make an informed decision - we do not recommend the use of ink for people in that stage of life. We do not recommend children for resin classes as they are working with chemicals.
Traveling with your work
You will leave your work with the venue overnight to continue to turn, and you are required to collect it by 9 am Sunday morning. When you collect it you will need to travel home with your work. You will receive explicit travel instructions via email before your event and will require someone to come with you to collect so that they can hold your work on your way home. Your resin will be hard on the surface on collection but soft under the surface so heavy handling can leave imprints, your work will need to cure for 12 days in a dust/pest/child/pet-free location before it can be used.
Parking
There is plenty of parking available on-site at no cost to you.
What to wear to class?
Please wear old clothing, with long sleeves - you are attending an art class and should dress accordingly. Resin can not be removed from your clothing if you get it on it, there is no way to remove resin from clothes in spite of common wives' tales to the contrary - this resin will wash out with water if you attend to it before it cures, however, the colour pigments may leave a stain. We provide disposable aprons.
Can I pre-order a meal?
No. There is a minimum spend of $25 as part of your ticket.
What happens if I can't make it?
You can find the terms and conditions here. For this class, you will lose your deposit if you cancel within 7 days, you can transfer out for a $10 fee provided advanced notice is provided.
