MARBURG - The Soul Nook - Learn to make a resin art clock

Here at our Sip and Dip we offer FUN art not FINE art, enjoy a guided learn to make class!

This class is a contractor class - we have brought in a fantastic instructor from Infatuate Creative to teach you how to work with resin!

This is a beginner, previous experience is not essential as we cover the basics of this process over the course of the day. This is the perfect beginner class! Your teacher will walk you through the process step by step!

Included in your price of this ticket is:

- A super easy step by step resin clay class run by your fabulous teacher

- All the equipment and materials you will need for a morning out

- 1 resin art clock to make and take

- The capped class size of no more than 16 people

In this class, you will learn to mix, colour and apply resin to stud findings to create 12 sets of earrings in your chosen colours. We encourage you to enjoy a coffee after class to allow your resin to cure slightly before leaving, you will be working on a foam tray which you will take home with you when you go.

Colours

We will have a variety of colours on the day however we do not guarantee the colour you want will be there, if you wish to use a particular colour please bring it with you. 

Stud Types

Studs are stainless steel, we can not provide sensitive earring fittings without blowing the price of the class out, unfortunately. If you wish to use these please bring them with you - they need to be 10mm across. Discounts are NOT applicable if you BYO, we will simply provide you the allocation accounted for in the price to take with you.

Resin

You will be working with resin, whilst it is an art supply it is also a chemical. We do not recommend this class for kids or pregnant women and ask that you read the resin disclosure available on our website along with the SDS for the product when you decide if it is right for your situation or the age/situation of the person you are purchasing this ticket for. Parking

At this time of day, there is ample street parking available opposite the venue and more behind the building.

What to wear to class?

We can not provide aprons due to covid regulations and so we encourage you to BYO an apron if it is your preference.

Can I pre-order a meal - is there coffee/snacks on site?

Yes, coffee and things like cake/slice are available onsite. For something more substaintial please contact the Soul Nook direct, with notice they can arrange picnic grazing boxes. These are $18 and you can contact them here to order. Meals are not included in your ticket price and are optional. The venue is BYO for wine/beer etc.

What happens if I can't make it?

This is a contractor class, all standard Sip 'n' Dip terms and conditions apply. If you are unable to attend and provide 48 hours notice you will be provided a credit with a 12-month expiry which can be used ONLY with Infatuate Creative contractor classes (NOT the general Sip 'n' Dip line up) refunds do not apply due to the expensive nature of supplies and limited class size.

What size is this class

This class is capped strictly at 16 people. Book early to avoid disappointment. We will not extend class sizes for any reason. This technique requires a capped class for the best possible experience for the clients.
