Come join us for a soul picnic 'n' paint event!!

On arrival, you will find your group assigned to a table/s so you are seated together. With what you need to produce your artwork (more on that below!).

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT YOUR RESERVED SPOT:

Picnic Rug + pillows (one per person at a minimum) + picnic table OR telescopic field easel.

Round Canvas + paint + water cup + Paintbrushes

Bottle of cold water + picnic food box each (containing salami, twiggy sticks, olives, soft cheese and crackers)

Your teacher will greet you and seat you and help you settle in and salami/cheese/cracker boxes will be handed out along with a bottle of water to each guest. Life coach Diane McKendrick will speak and the art class will follow.

Get comfortable in your styled picnic, enjoy the cool breeze on your cheeks, great food in your tummy, wonderful company as you paint and relax on the green of this glorious recreation reserve.

CONFIRMATION

Your ticket will be emailed to you after the event, please be sure to enter your email correctly and check your spam folder. You are not required to bring your ticket. The only time we will ask for a ticket is if someone arrives claiming that they are you and so we are required to identify who actually purchased it. Your confirmation email will read that you must bring it, but we are unable to change this setting and it is not required. A second automated confirmation will arrive in your inbox 3 days prior to the event to remind you that it is on.

PLEASE BRING

This event is picnic style, if you struggle to stay seated on a rug and pillows for long periods we suggest a camp chair would be suitable to use at your table. The tables are approx 30cm off the ground. A set of earphones to plug into our transmitter system allowing you to hear every word the teacher is saying as if they are standing right next to you. Suncream and a hat - while the sun is still up you may prefer to wear a hat until it sets.

AGENDA

4:00 - 4.15 PM (15 Mins) - Arrival and seating in your dedicated picnic spot

4.15 - 4.40 PM (15 Mins) - Listen to Diane McKendrick speak while you nibble on your snack boxes

4.40 - 6:00 PM (1 hour 10 mins) - Learn to paint twilight on a circular canvases

FOOD CHANGES

Catering is ordered in from Woolworths and boxes are set (we can not swap out for special requirements as the price is based on bulk ordering).

WET WEATHER

If it looks like it will rain, we will cancel and rebook the event for a different date. You will get an email by 12PM the day of your event confirming the cancellation if it applies with a new date for the event. Please check your spam mail. If you can not make the revised date we will offer you a credit to be used without expiry across any of our venues and classes.

GROUP BOOKINGS 

If you purchased more than one seat you will automatically be grouped with those seats (even if you made them in separate transactions), if you would like to be grouped with other attendees in particular (your friend paid for their own ticket) just let us know their name and we will be sure to seat you together!

NO SHOWS 

If you book a ticket (paid or unpaid) and don't show up, we do not offer a refund and you are required to pay for your class. We have to purchase supplies in advance of the class to account for your attendance and as supplies are hard to get during COVID, we have to outlay that cost weeks and weeks in advance. Due to covid restrictions classes are almost always sold out. So when you no show we make a loss. If you let us know more than 24 hours before the class we will happily transfer your ticket to another event or offer you a credit to use at any of our classes but we do not offer refunds.

COVID RELATED NO SHOWS

Unless you can provide an isolation notice showing date and time issued  - in the 24 hours before the event, and you have contacted us straight away to let us know that you cant attend (hello@sipndipipswich.com), you forfeit your fee. If you provide the isolation notice, and let us know straight away, then we will offer you a credit transfer to any event in our line up to the value of your ticket. No shows without emailed notice do not

PUBLIC LIABILITY

By booking your tickets you agree to adhere to COVID safe regulations including but not limited to ensuring you do not attend if exhibiting symptoms of COVID 19, maintaining social distancing (and not walking around the event) and take full responsibility for yourself, your personal belongings and your welfare while engaging with your art class. COVID SAFE EVENT CHECKLIST

This event operates under a COVID safe checklist, this means we are restricted to no more than 50 guests. There is a long list of requirements we are required to meet in order to function under a COVID safe checklist, you can read more about our COVID policies here. The checklist for this particular event will be on display at the COVID tracing sign in area.
