Ages 17+  Class- Mixed Media Explorations- Class runs once a week (Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm)

Each class will introduce you to a new medium and how to use it to create an artwork.

In visual art, mixed media describes the artwork in which more than one medium or material has been employed. Sip 'n' Dip Senior Mixed Media Explorers focuses on the use of one medium each week.  Creating art expands a young ones ability to interact with the world around them, and provides a new set of skills for self-expression and communication. Not only does art help to develop the right side of the brain, it also cultivates important skills that benefit a mental and emotional development.  Here at the Rothwell Art Studio, we provide weekly art classes in capped groups of up to 15.  As we explore the fantastic world of Art and approach a new medium each week.
