SIP 'N' DIP TEACHER RESIN CALIBRATION SESSION

Hi Ladies,

This session has been called for a few reasons, the biggest one is to solidify expectations around resin use, to walk through how I would like the classes to run and be taught, and to go over customer feedback broadly and incorporate this feedback to make for better classes. We will also review the process and provide some insight into the studio's processing and prepping of resin art classes.

I’m going to personally host this resin training session - I feel that everyone needs to hear from me direct what the expectations are. Whilst everyone runs their classes slightly differently, there are certain things I would like done the same in every class for consistency.

The training is unpaid and optional, but for those who attend I will provide nibbles and you will get to keep your work, and for those working with resin, I’ll need you to attend this session or a 1x1 with me (if you can’t attend the session) in the next 4 weeks to make sure we are on the same page around what I need from you.

Resin is a difficult medium to deal with and as such I feel we need to have a clear understanding of how to get the best outcome for our customers and a forum to raise questions.

We had a lot of new staff, and resin art is new to many of you and you are all doing a great job. But the time has come to calibrate expectations and for me to provide some clear direction to support their use and application of resin, along with some guidance on my expectations for classes and some background on why we do things in particular ways.

I believe training session will help fill any gaps in cumulative learning you might have.
