Here at our Sip and Dip, we offer FUN art, not FINE art, and our Speed Dating Sip 'n' Paint sessions are no exception! No previous experience is required, in this class, you will spend time chatting, painting, drinking wine and meeting new people!

Speed dating is a fun way to meet possible love interests, organised in a quick-fire format. Attendees book their space in advance, ensuring the perfect ratio of potential matches in the room and helps alleviate any nerves for those reentering the dating game taking the pressure off having to maintain a conversation with one person all evening. 

Much the same as traditional speed dating, our event incorporates a sit down meal (you will be seated with whoever you attend with to eat or grouped on a singles table for anyone who comes solo) when people are arriving and settling with a beer or wine, followed by a simple dabbing paint technique that will be followed the same on every canvas in the room. Canvases are 20x20cm, and you take your plate of colours with you from seat to seat. You will spend 5-10 minutes with each guest at each buzzer, and the canvas you end on is the one you take home!

These sessions are for all genders, sexual persuasion, background, or religion - everyone is welcome here! Guests often bring a 'plus 1' whom we automatically seat next to them for the evening. We also group these events by age only as these sittings are a great way to re-enter the dating pool, work on confidence or even expand your friendship circle (and have a bunch of fun!)

$55 Total ticket price ($30 Deposit to book today with $25 payable to the venue on the evening of the event) Includes:

Hows the ticketing work?

You will pay a deposit to hold your spot, and finalise your payment on arrival at the venue at $25 a head which will cover your dinner and and a glass of wine - full bar available on-site if you wish to purchase further drinks.

Traveling with your work

Your painting will only be wet in the middle, so you won't have any trouble traveling home with it.

What Age range is this for?

Ages 31-47

How do I know if there will be compatible matches?

In an era of diverse sexual orientations, preferences and self-identification these events are targeting people who want a great night out, with the wine flowing and the music playing, to engage in conversation with a wide variety of people in short bursts, and maybe even meet someone special while they are at it! 

Is there music?

Yes! We offer a new themed playlist at each event, this one will feature music from the 80's and 90's!

Parking

There is plenty of parking available on-site at no cost to you.

What to wear to class?

We provide aprons, you will be working with acrylic paint which can stain, so dress in clothing you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on.

Can I pre-order a meal?

No. This event provides roaming canape trays.

What happens if I can't make it?

You can find the terms and conditions here. For this class you will lose your deposit if you cancel within 7 days, you can transfer it to another name at no cost if you can not attend.

Onsite on the evening there could be several classes runing on site simultaneously, this could be be 60-80 people across various classes.
