Looking for a cheap board class to dip your toe in the resin trend? This is the perfect class at $44 for the class (and $25 for the meal and wine) there is no cheaper class on the market!

Here at our Sip and Dip, we offer FUN art, not FINE art, so you can let your hair down and enjoy a guided learn-to-make class along with a meal and a glass of wine! No previous experience is required, in this class, you will learn to work mix, colour and pour resin over your choice of project (we will have a collection of resin cheeseboards to choose from on the day on a first-in-best-dressed arrangement).

$69 Total Price ($44 Deposit to book + $25 due on arrival) = Meal + Glass of wine + Class + Teacher + Materials + Mixed Resin

CLASS FAQ

Hows it work?

On arrival, head to the front counter to be seated (this venue is table service). Once everyone has eaten (approximately 30-40 Minutes into the event) your art teacher will commence your class. While other guests eat your teacher will also help you collect the colours you need before class.

Hows the ticketing work?

You will pay a deposit to hold your spot, and finalise your payment on arrival at the venue at $25 a head which will cover your meal and drink - full bar available on-site if you wish to purchase further drinks.

What kinds of projects could there be?

This class will contain a range of small to medium boards and projects, ranging from mini paddles, to sandwich boards, mini lazy susans to slade boards and everything in between. Whatever we have in stock we will send with a choice of several project types. Projects based on availability, whilst we send lots of choices, we price this class lower than others to move stock, so it is a first come first served basis. We do not commit to any particular project, this is a guide only. The image used to advertise this event contains a range of boards often featured in this class.

Resin is a chemical make an informed decision

If you are booking in for a resin class it is important to remember that resin is a chemical and as such we ask that you first review the epoxy resin FAQ on our website particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or a child to make an informed decision - we do not recommend the use of ink for people in that stage if life.

Traveling with your work

For your resin we highly recommend traveling via taxi, uber or carpooling. Your boards and coasters must remain level for the duration of your trip, you will need both hands to ensure this is the case and do not disrupt your design or cause it to move significantly. Even when left flat resin will move significantly, so be aware that the design you leave with, will change even while you are watching it, again during travel, and again once you let it rest at home, this is totally normal and to be expected. Do not travel home with resin on the seat in your car or on the floor in your boot.

Parking

Paid parking available opposite Buffalo Bar at Wilson Carpark. Opening hours are 5am-11pm daily.

What to wear to class?

Please wear old clothing, with long sleeves or BYO an apron, you are attending an art class and should dress accordingly. Resin can not be removed from your clothing if you get it on it, there is no way to remove resin from clothes in spite of common wives tales to the contrary - this resin will wash out with water if you attend to it before it cures hwoever the colour pigments may leave a stain.

Can I pre-order a meal?

No. There is a minimum spend of $25 as part of your ticket,  you can choose anything on the menu.

What happens if I can't make it?

You can find the terms and conditions here. For this class you will loose your deposit if you cancel within 7 days

What size is this class

Onsite on the evening, there could be 60 people across various classes, your class is capped at 30
